What is a kindness elf?
The concept of the kindness elf is growing in popularity each year. Similar to 'elf on a shelf' they love to visit your home and spread happiness with children, encouraging them to do small acts of kindness in their daily lives. There is no focus on bad behaviour or reporting back to Santa, but a positive focus for building kind character habits - no act is too small! Each day the elves may bring a postcard recognising a kind deed from the day before, or a note suggesting ways we can help others either at home, school or in the community. Children are encouraged to write back too if they wish.
